June's Flea Market Trip

It was supposed to storm. Some of the vendors told me they probably wouldn't set up. I felt discouraged all week knowing this wouldn't be a good shopping trip. This monthly trip is crucial for my business, and sometimes the weather negatively affects it!

I still went, arrive at 7:45 AM like I do every time. I stopped at my best vendor first thing, and I left with 26 quilts. I went back to my car (two trips worth) and continued through the isles. I ended up making five trips, it should have been six. My cart fell over twice because it was so full (whoops!).

So, this trip, that was supposed to be a wash, turned into the largest haul I have ever had. I left with 65 quilts and an overflowing car. I typically fit everything in the back, but my middle *and* front seat was full.

So, July, I have high hopes for you!

Bright and Organized

Those two words, bright and organized, they should be my life motto. My house is full of white. White walls, white couches, white dishes, white pillows, white bedspread, white white white. Give me all of the white.

My favorite is to add dark wood with my whites. It's like my sweet and salty. They just go together. This stand from IKEA holds my vintage sewing boxes. The top box houses my tape gun and the bottom my tag guns. I found the other trinkets from the Nashville Flea Market.

I stare at this office space everyday, so it was important to me to make it an enjoyable space!
