I know, I have a lot of quilts listed on the site right now. It is overwhelming to try and choose one or two out of 200 quilts. I get it. So, I am going to break down my favorites and why they are the perfect photography prop.
**This post was published on 1/23/17. These quilts were available when published but may have sold since then. Either way, you can get an idea of the types of quilts I personally use for my photo sessions.

Out of the quilts I currently have listed, this is my favorite quilt for a session. Why? It is lightweight (easy to carry around) and it has a variety of colors. It wouldn't work for every session, but it would work for most! I always choose quilts that have lots of colors or are more neutral. Every session will have these types of quilts in my trunk.
This quilt is $175 and can be found here.
Next up: a lovely neutral quilt that is full of blues and creams. It is also light weight, which makes it perfect for those outside sessions. I have found that quilts with blue tones throughout go with more client outfits.
This quilt is $110 and can be found here.
This patchwork is a must for sessions. Red and blue are fun, bright colors that will pop in your photos. If I had a session today, this would be in my car! *This quilt is currently living on my guest bed because I love it that much.
This quilt is $100 and can be found here.
I have several quilts with lots of blue. These are always my go-to quilts for sessions. The blue has proven (by my own mental surveys) to match more outfits than other colors. This quilt also has other neutral colors stitched throughout. It is light weight too. So, basically, it is a must.
This quilt is $90 and can be found here.
Another favorite, this Postage Stamp Quilt is scattered with blue throughout. These dark colors mixed in with lighter colors offers a nice contrast and will photograph well.
This quilt is $100 and can be found here.
My go to quilts are always ones full of color and contrast. But, I always try and bring a lighter quilt along with me too. Sometimes your client will show up wearing an outfit that clashes with every quilt you brought. So, I can then pull out my lighter/more neutral quilt! This one is pricier, but I love it so much. There are several other lighter quilts listed on the site with a much lower price tag!
This quilt is $250 and can be found here.
A traditional patchwork quilt is so easy to use during a session. With every color represented, there is a greater likelihood it will blend in perfectly with your client's wardrobe choices.
This quilt is $100 and can be found here.
This favorite is also a must. I have found that the deeper colored quilts photograph well and pop perfectly against the green grass. This one also has blue and red scattered throughout.
This quilt is $100 and can be found here.
I personally used this quilt in my mini sessions this past fall. These neutrals worked perfectly and matched almost every outfit my clients showed up in. It is lightweight too which makes it easier to load and carry around.
This quilt is marked down to $80 and can be found here.
This quilt is full of neutrals. It is also larger, so it is perfect for those larger families. The darker colors mixed with the lighter blocks allow it to pop well in photos.
This quilt is $85 and can be found here.
This quilt is brighter but it also has great neutrals mixed throughout. This quilt would be in my "grab" stack for outdoor sessions!
This quilt is $85 and can be found here.
I have taken this quilt with me to a couple of sessions this winter. The reds and blues work well with so many outfit combinations. It has some color bleed throughout, but it is still a favorite.
This quilt is $75 and can be found here.
I keep forgetting about this quilt, but it is one of my favorites. It is lightweight and thinner. The mix of blue, red, and neutrals make it perfect for outdoor sessions. This one is a must and will be with me during my next session!
This quilt is marked down to $80 and can be found here.
